Apple New iPhone 5 tested with A5X Chip and 1 GB RAM

Under the new publication 9to5mac in the laboratories of the new Apple iPhone begins to circulate for trial "disguised" in the chassis of the iPhone 4S.

The first information refer to using a different version of A5X system-on-a-chip (SoC) which he knew to the presentation of New iPad:

Apple has internally seeded a prototype next-generation iPhone with the iPhone 4 design. The actual next-generation iPhone is specifically said to not include the iPhone 4/4S design, but Apple is testing these new devices in older casings to throw off leaks. The purpose of the prototype iPhone that we heard about is to test a variation of the "A5X" chip in an iPhone.

The prototype comes with the internal code name N96 and the first reports are talking about doubling the RAM to 1GB, compared to the existing model (iPhone 4S):

Instead, the iPhone prototypes that we're talking about have a varation of the A5X's S5L8945X architecture. Like the A5X-powered iPad, these new iPhone prototypes are packing 1GB of RAM. This prototype is labeled N96 internally, but we're not sure if this internal codename will carry over to the actual next-generation iPhone. Again, this iPhone that we are describing is an internal-only unit built for testing the performance of a new chip in an iPhone, not an actual phone that Apple will produce.

Apple first "Easter Egg" date from 1987

It's not just for children that hide the eggs, it has also become a tradition among developers hide content within a program or website. We call it "Easter eggs" in English, small jokes (often an animation, game, or a message) that are accessible only by typing a text a keystroke.

Apple is one of the first to have proposed such content. In 1987, they hide Easter Eggs built into the ROM of the Macintosh SE. They were typing "G 41D89A" keys in the debugger and appear to see a team photo on the screen:

Apple HeadQuarters leaked pictures

The images of Apple's headquarters are rather easy to find on the internet, but it is often simply images taken from the outside, those taken indoors are much rarer! Our colleagues from AppleGazette have, themselves, made a much more thorough research, and we offer a full gallery of images from inside the campus.

The Compagny Store, the only place open to the public, and the only place where certain products are sold as T-shirts bearing the image of the brand.

Place much less open to the public offices inside are almost all organized as in this photo.

Apple prepares for New iPhone 5 Production

Foxconn, the company that assembles products including Apple, now recruited 20,000 workers for the New iPhone 5. This information is to be taken lightly as it is rumors of rumors. These additional workers will occupy the Sixth-Generation iPhone. Foxconn had in fact already received initial orders coming straight from Apple for the design. If this happens, the plant would be the main Foxconn Taiyuan. They would count 85% of the smartphone, and is committed to produce 57 million copies annually. The plant chosen would become the main place where the next Apple device is assembled.

On the other hand, some doubt. Indeed, several current workers' strikes Foxconn taking place in China. The main cause is the increase in salary. The assembler was supposed to revise upward the payroll quickly, or even nothing has changed with the arrival of the New iPhone. The workers have therefore preferred to let go of their machines to go into the street. For information, a worker at Foxconn is now paid 1,550 yuan per month (€ 185). He asks reach 1,800 yuan (€ 215). Foxconn does not looking for new employees who would accept the basic salary? Even the sites reporting the story does not have the information, although they speculate.

LEGO Apple Store Project

Today we will tell you about Apple Store LEGO project but which must, like kickstart projects, having secured the support of 10,000 people on the site of LEGO CUUSOO one day be able to spend dreams.

What about this project?
LEGO is a bit CUUSOO the kickstarter LEGO projects. You propose an idea and if you manage to get 10 000 people who support you, your project will move to the manufacturing stage.
If we now speak of this method is that a new project by and for Fanboys began on March 1: A LEGO Apple Store.

The project is complete:
  • about 800 pieces
  • presence of employees and customers but also to Steve JOBS
  • For decoration, iPhone, iPad, iPod, MacBook, iMac, Mac Pro, a Genius Bar and shelving accessories are even provided.
Even the roof has a transparent Apple logo in order to admit light.

The project collected just over 1,500 fans, which is off the mark this time. And I do not think Apple lets make long, considering the control strategy has the trademark on its image!

Apple NanoSim

In order to gain still more room in its phones in 2010 Apple introduced with the iPhone 4, the MicroSIM. A few months ago, the company Giesecke & Devrient formalized the NanoSim. This is Apple's request, always anxious to reduce component size on its smartphones, this format was created. The chip measures 12 x 9 x 0.66mm against 15 x 12 x 0.76mm for MicroSim, a reduction of 30%.

This new SIM card is ready but Apple faces hostility from the competition: According to the Financial Times, Nokia, Motorola and RIM push their side their own format. Indeed, the firm has developed a card incorporating a sort of tray to protect it, what would be ideal to fit into the iPhone and the iPad, but less for other manufacturers who would have to adapt to this standard . This proposed standard would be licensed but Apple's competitors fear that keeps Cupertino patents goshawks of it.

Nokia admits that this design has undeniable "technical advantages" and Apple has already won support from major European operators. A decision must be made in the course of next week in the ETSI, the European regulatory standards.

Apple invented the fusion of plastic and metal

In order to stay one step ahead, Apple must constantly remain at the forefront of innovation.

Tired of using adhesives not always reliable, the Cupertino company is currently experimenting with new techniques of fusion of metal with plastic to improve the robustness of its iPhones.

This new concept has been the subject of a patent application by Apple in September. It says that:

All attempts in the past to substitute portions of metal with plastic parts in an architecture where the solder is used have always been a failure.

The solution proposed by the California company is to manufacture metal parts having an irregular surface, which has the advantage of better binding to the molten plastic. In this way, the plastic could be welded by ultrasound with the metal part, can you read.

The move will undoubtedly offer designers more flexibility to design new devices, and why not help to alleviate some of our more iPhones and other iPods.

How much Google pays Apple to be default in Safari

While users can choose between Google, Yahoo and MSN as a search engine to use in Safari on iOS, few people change the default setting!

As you can well imagine, this has a cost advantage for Google! But do you really know how much Google pays Apple to integrate its Search Engine on iOS?

Well according to the analyst Ben Schachter, Google paid to Apple last year the tidy sum of $1 billion! Maybe you already knew but it's also the same for the Mozilla Firefox browser which is almost entirely funded by Google! Internet users are using Firefox searches on Google and click on AdSense ads. Revenues that Google draws are then shared with Mozilla, which allows them to have the financial means to improve web standards and software that they publish (including Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird), prompting other publishers Web browser to do the same.

Otherwise, there is Google Search application :

Google Search - App Store link.
For iPhone or iPad that allows you to search the Web and benefit from search features exclusive as voice dictation.

Apple Smart Cover 2.0 : Leather Version

A year ago, when Apple announced the iPad 2, it also left everyone with it super magnetic cover that made thick, hatch and stuck on the tablet, as if by magic. But after a Reality Distortion Field ® ceased to have effect, some wondered: "But what about the rear, is not protected?"

Note : This caused many manufacturers of accessories (such as ZAGG or Griffin) to become famous presenting protection solutions also for the back of the iPad.
But according to recent rumors, Apple itself can solve this need by presenting a second version of its Smart Cover officer. The site iLounge claims to have information obtained from reliable sources that the new cover for the Apple iPad 3 will also protect the rear of the unit. The solution is similar to some already on the market, such as Intellicase, which has the front Smart Cover equal to the current but with a protective backing more rigid material equal to the front.

What remains unclear is whether this new version would also be consistent with the current iPad 2.

Looking for a job in Apple? Apple created 500,000 jobs in the U.S.

These days, all major U.S. media criticized Apple for the deplorable conditions of employees of Foxconn, has rekindled debate in another: the large number of Apple creates jobs worldwide, mainly in China, then she might as well happen to any US. As a result, Apple has decided to defend themselves and reveals on its website that it weighs Altogether more than 500,000 jobs in the U.S.!

Be careful though because the calculation is quite large: first, the 304,000 jobs are directly or indirectly created by Apple. This obviously includes 47,000 Apple itself, but also 257,000 part of other companies. As for the 210,000 "jobs in the economy iOS applications," it is neither more nor less than independent developers.

So one way for Apple to defend themselves and to show that no, it  is not completely empty and still creates many jobs in the  country.

Apple Store on the Champs-Elysees instead of Virgin?

While Tim Cook, Apple's current CEO, is on a flying visit to Paris, many wonder if Apple's strong man does not surrender the capital to sign a lease of 7000m2 on the Champs-Elysées ... It must say that it's been years that we wish Apple ready to settle on the Champs-Elysées ...

Yes but now, if the price per square meter is enough to impress many brands, it is mainly the lack of free space that is the problem. Luckily, the British Virgin Megastore shop may well bow out soon. Accusing a number of sales of less and less important over the years and a rent of increasingly exorbitant, the English would have no choice but to leave.

Apple but also the American Forever 21, or the British Marks & Spencer, would be in line to occupy the place. Still, this is surely the first in the world market capitalization, ie Apple, which should have the last word. Only downside in all this: the size of the premises. Knowing that the largest Apple Store is 4000m2, one wonders what Apple will choose to do ... as much space for storage?

For the fifth consecutive year, Apple has just finished in first place of the most admired companies in the world. Unlike the classification of earlier this week, this time, respondents numbered 3855 (executives, business managers and financial analysts).

The year 2012 promises to be particularly rich in new side of Apple (iPhone 5, iPad 3, new MacBook, etc..), It's a safe bet that Apple keeps this up the first one yet right time. Note that Google is in second place and Amazon - definitely in great shape - appropriates the bronze medal.

Apple may adjust the download limit on 3G

For two years now, Apple allows its users to download applications not exceeding 20 MB in 3G. This may seem little, yet the limit was lower before. Indeed, the maximum threshold was 10 MB Only, there is a day when this limit will be raised to suit the new conditions of use. Applications - in their early days - were not very applied knowledge that their contents were simplistic. Resolution images were also much lower (320 × 480), weight was reduced accordingly. But times change, as Apple devices. Today, the iPhone has doubled resolution (640 × 960). The images were therefore taken by weight. Moreover, applications of today are enriched, the Apple SDK was extended by new features that could give new rights to developers. The 20 MB limit is rather restrictive in some cases.

Why Apple is expected to increase the limit? Simply because of the arrival of the iPad 3. The new Apple tablet will have a Retina display. The weight of the images will be more than important. In addition, another problem is to impose: universal applications. Universal application includes both the iPhone version and version iPad in a single application. Suffice to say that the issue is not even to ask, Apple has to respond. But on the other hand, there is a problem, a big problem: the operators.

The operators offer mobile Internet offers so-called "unlimited" which are not really (that's another debate that we will not develop here). 500 MB in one, 1 GB in the other, etc.. The latter are also often complained about the judging that monopolized their iPhone traffic. Imagine if tomorrow the limit increased from 20 MB to 40/60 Mo. Mr. Orange, Mr. SFR, Bouygues Mr. and Mr. Free Mobile can be a gueulante would push against Apple. What is the solution?

Well, there are maybe two. Federico Viticci of MacStories think Apple could either make arrangements with operators, is reviewing the system to download from the App Store. Concretely, this would be to download what the device is in need. An iPad 2 for example does not would download the images to a dedicated Retina display and vice versa. This process would require a lot of work, however, hope that Apple has found a happy medium.

Apple rejects eBooks referring links to Amazon

The iBookstore is Apple's online library where clients can buy books in digital format. Apple is not alone in this market, Amazon is its main competitor. The California company has understood and will even impose its laws to publishers. Seth Godin has paid the price and briefly tells her story. On PaidContent, he explains that he was denied his book on the iBookstore because of Amazon links included in his book of reference books mentioned by the author. Gadin is quite amazed at this case and pushes a small gueulante. He makes it clear that this rivalry on the digital book market must stop. "If you want a book can be ordered from any bookseller," and it's true.

For comparison, it takes YouTube, "YouToube Must be able to stop touting Vimeo videos? "And Bing," Bing must refuse to make links to the documents if Google is the subject of your research? ". Gadin shows ubiquity of this phenomenon in larger, mainly Apple, desperate to hold an exclusive when in fact it is not one. What kind of world do we live?

Apple iPhone 5 Magic Mouse

A writing iSmooth Blog. We are truly fans of the iPhone concept designed by the studio 5 Intelligent Design. The creators have used the lines of the Magic Mouse to give this iPhone elegant lines. Many feel that the next iPhone will adopt a completely different design of the current iPhone 4S, whose style is inherited from its predecessor, the iPhone 4.

Obviously, if the sixth-generation iPhone should sported a very different design, nothing says that Apple will adopt the guidelines as "curved". These pictures are only creations of designers and do not in any way be representative of the final design of the model.

Anyway, quite a concept right?
