GSMA 2012 : iPhone 4S didn't win award for "Best Smartphone"

It was held Feb. 28 at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the annual contest of the Global Mobile Awards. For this year 2012, it was the 17th edition. Among the potential winners was especially Apple. Unfortunately, the phone - the iPhone 4S - did not win the award for "best smartphone". No, the winner is its main rival, the Samsung Galaxy SII. The iPhone 4 had however was considered the "Best Mobile Device" last year. It must be said that the competitor has something to compete, its success during the Christmas season is not surprising. But Apple is not distributed empty handed this year. Indeed, the iPad 2 was considered the "Best Mobile Tablet." What to leave with a smile.

So Apple may come back next year and offer its iPhone 5 which - hopefully - will deliver real news and a new design. The next Galaxy Samsung Will it live up to in 2013? Hmm.

Galaxy S3 still inspired by design of iPhone?

According to our colleagues from BGR, the next flagship of Samsung, the Galaxy S3 could well bear a design similar to that of the current iPhone 4S. While the Mobile World Congress being held right now in Barcelona, is decidedly absent from this great about him.

According to the website above named, the Galaxy SIII should have a back ceramic and lines similar to those of the iPhone 4S. Samsung did not fear for the pockets of its customers, the manufacturer should propose a 4.8 inch touch screen on this new smartphone (against 4.27 for the current SII). The craft should also be powered by a Samsung processor dual-core Exynos.

If the design of both units is actually as close as the rumor claimed, no doubt that Apple will rise again into the breach ...
