iTunes accounts are being hacked

Hacking of iTunes accounts, many of us would go willingly ... According to The Global Mail, yet another wave of customers registered on the iTunes Store were victims these days of hacking their account. Hackers exploit the information from these accounts to buy iTunes prepaid cards, as well as articles on the Apple Store online! The firm quickly became aware of the support forums and took the lead.

Apple has announced that it would repay the stolen money and restore the hacked accounts as soon as possible. Somewhat surprisingly, Apple refuses to open an investigation, claiming there was not a real security problem with iTunes accounts. This reminds us of the strange case of IMessage bug where Apple is also a deaf ear.

More exotic, some hackers use stolen accounts to rate their applications themselves! The Global Mail and mentions the case of a hacker who stole 400 Taiwanese accounts to assign grades to their apps on the App Store. Less annoying for customers pirated.
