Some time ago, the company introduced the Parrot AR Drone 2.0, an evolution of its miniature helicopter with four rotors, controllable via an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch using their accelerometer or virtual buttons. The company just announced that the device for our iDevices is now available for pre-order the U.S., for delivery in stores in May.
This new version embarks a 720p HD camera, a new application for the registration of the flight videos in HD, a USB port to facilitate the transfer of video and of course still compatible with the games sold with the AR Drone. The unit also benefits from improved flight controls.
