Five Things for Friday!

Happy Friday! Here's what's been going on at Annick lately...

First thing!
Ruth Ohi and Sarah Tsiang enthusiastically signed books at the OLA Super Conference last week. I hear they were quite popular.

Second thing!
The Bite of the Mango, by Mariatu Kamara with Susan McClelland, won CBC's Young Canada Reads contest. Click here to listen to the final podcast.

Third thing!
We've put our Spring 2012 titles on NetGalley--if you're a reviewer looking for children's books, please take a look.

Fourth thing!
Two of our titles have been selected as USBBY Outstanding International Books: A Stranger at Home, by Christy Jordan-Fenton and Margaret Pokiak-Fenton and illustrated by Liz Amini-Holmes; and Beyond Bullets, by Rafal Gerszak with Dawn Hunter. Click here to view the full list of selected titles.

Fifth and final thing!
Blogger Sugary Flower put together a delicious meal based around Chicken, Pig, Cow and the Purple Problem--you really have to see it to believe it! (Warning: may cause extreme hunger.)

Have a good weekend, everyone!
