As you are allaware fund-raising has become extremely difficult in the past few years sincethe Celtic Tiger left the country. However, all is not lost and we have afund-raising initiative that might give your group or school a great start to2012.
In conjunctionwith the Calendar Company in Carlow we are getting 2012 calendars designed andprinted with images of the local area. This is done in partnership withourselves, so that our logo and your group/school logo will also be onit. The calendars will be printed at no cost to the school and the imagesfor the 12 months can be also selected by the school. Images of the localtown or area, some historic and some modern work really well. Thecalendars will sell for €5 each, and the school will keep €2.50 out of everycalendar sold. There will be 1000 calendars made available to the schoolfor sale in local business, through parents and staff and other methods. If all1000 calendars sell, the school/group will have received €2,500 without havingto spend one cent, or really have to put in any major time other than selectingimages and photos.
