Big Red Bike Ride

Keith Duffy and Paul McGrath Launch ‘The Big Red Bike Ride’, a 400 Mile Charity Cycle
Keith Duffy accompanied by Ireland football legend Paul McGrath announced details of ‘The Big Red Bike Ride’ which will commence at Mizen Head on 9th of June 2012. The cycle will cover 400 miles reaching Malin head on 14th June and finishing up in Derry later that day. All funds raised from the challenge will go to Irish Autism Action, Manchester United Foundation and Hearts & Minds. This is a unique opportunity to cycle along with Manchester United Legends including Denis Irwin and Clayton Blackmore and other celebrity guests including Keith Duffy.
The exciting journey will take the cyclists through some of Irelands most beautiful countryside and coastline covering Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway and Donegal from the most southerly point to the most northerly point in Ireland finishing up in Derry. Regardless of experience, all levels of cyclists who would like to take on the challenge of cycling 80 miles each day covering the length of Ireland are welcome to join in. There will be plenty of opportunities to chill out, have fun and make some great new friendships while helping to make a difference to the lives of children effected by Autism in the UK and Ireland.
If you are up to the challenge, simply register for €150 and agree to raise a further minimum of €1500 and you will be part of “THE BIG RED BIKE RIDE”
