Apple A5X vs NVIDIA Tegra 3

In presenting the New iPad on March 7, Phil Schiller, vice president of marketing for the firm, compared the graphics power of the A5X processor integrated into the new Apple tablet to that of NVIDIA's Tegra 3 Processor. Although flattered to be taken as basis of comparison, the leaders of the brand known ( NVIDIA ) for its graphics cards did not like to see their new processor, quad-core and GPU with a 12-core, Four Times lower than the Apple New iPad (dual-core and GPU with a 4 hearts). This is the voice of Ken Brown as the company wanted to know more about the conditions of testing that revealed these results.

Although Apple has not responded to this remark, They will not have to wait until the release of the New iPad to get the results of comparative tests. Indeed, some parts are already free (as evidenced by the unpacking done by the site Tinhte.vn), allowing the curious to make various benchmarks. Also, it is already possible to find the results on sites like GLBenchmark.

Results : Apple A5X is benchmarked against NVIDIA Tegra 3.
On the latter, it is possible to compare the New iPad (referred to as the iPad 3) and the ASUS Transformer Prime, one tablet at present to dispose of the Tegra 3 processor and the results are A5X Display is Four Times Better than Tegra 3.

If the New iPad can not be four times higher than the Transformer Prime as shown at the conference of Apple, it should be noted that most of its results are still higher, and it still displays double or even triple the frames when viewed in 720p, not constrained by the vertical sync.

In other words, without reaching the phenomenal scores reported by Phil Schiller at the conference, the third generation iPad is definitely better bill with regard to the posting, but anyway, the fans have already their choice.
