New iPad 3 vs iPad 2 : Charging Time Difference

While the first copy of the New iPad just arrived in the drafting of various journals, our colleagues Mac4Ever have had the good idea to test the performance of the new battery this iPad. If Apple has doubled the capacity of batteries Slate (25 watt / hour to 42.5 watt / hour) because of the new screen Retina energy intensive, autonomy in use "classic" (consulting web, mail, etc..) remains unchanged with respect to the iPad 2 in terms of charging time for con.

Results : New iPad 3 requires 6 hours of recharging against three hours for the iPad 2.
If enough of an average 3 hours to fully recharge the iPad 2, it will take you 6 hours to fully charge the new slate. Towards the optimization of the load, nothing has been done. Autonomy issue, particularly when a game is launched greedy (with optimization for Retina Display), the third generation iPhone is less than 2:30 of the iPad 2 (4h against 6:30). For those who doubted, this iPad is clearly faster than its predecessor ... pity that Apple did not have, let alone worked on more autonomy.
