Whether it takes the form of aggression, tantrums, self-injury or property destruction, challenging behaviour can be extremely distressing.  As a teacher or SNA you will want to know how you can understand and help. This one day course, facilitated by specialists in the field of autism and behaviour analysis includes a combination of training and workshop-based activities, as well as the chance to share experiences.
– Be more confident in understanding why challenging behaviours occur
– Be able to make a basic plan of action
– Know how to check whether your plan is working or not
– Have a range of practical tools to help you deal with challenging behaviour in your   classroom
